Math Criteria for Major Letter
Five hundred (500) points must be earned in one season to receive the Ledger "S". If 350 points are earned in succeeding years, the awards will be medals.
Points can be earned by:
Practices
The student receives five points for each correct answer on the Wednesday in-house math competitions.
League Meets
The students receive 10 points for participating.
The students receive points earned on the competition.
The students receive an additional 20 points if he/she medals.
Other Math Meets
AMC-12, AMC-10 Test - Points equal to the score received on the test.
