Financial Aid and Merit Scholarships Academic and Leadership/Activity Scholarships - A committee is reviewing the applications and recommendations. Students receiving the scholarships will be notified by April 1.
The St. Mary's Springs Performing Arts Booster Club offers scholarships to encourage students to participate in the performing arts at SMS. Three different types of scholarships are available. The PABC Senior Scholarship is for students in the class of 2008. The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize one or more graduating senior student's contribution to the performing arts. Two additional scholarships that are offered are for incoming students and continuing students. The senior scholarship will be due in the Guidance Office and the continuing and incoming scholarships will be due in the Business Office on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 3:05pm.

Families having an interest in applying for financial aid for the 2008-2009 school year should have completed the SSS application by now. If you are interested in applying for financial aid, please complete the SSS application on-line at www.nais.org/financialaid/sss. Copies of your 2007 Federal Income Taxes and W-2 forms should be sent to the Business Office. If you have not sent in your copies, please forward to the Business Office as soon as possible. If you are unable to complete the SSS application form on-line or are unable to access the website, please contact Terri Harasha at the above listed number or e-mail.
Families receiving financial aid will receive an award letter in early April. Tuition statements will be mailed in late April. Families will have approximately one month to complete the Prepaid Tuition Intent Form and decide which option they will choose to pay tuition. Tuition payment options available for the 2008-2009 school year are:
Pay in full with cash on or before July 1
Pay in full with credit card on or before July 1
Enroll in a loan program with National Exchange Bank
Enroll in payment plan with St. Mary's Springs High School
The payment options will be explained in detail when the tuition statements are mailed. After the budget is balanced, tuition and fees for 2008-2009 will be announced.
